Services

Did you know that there is more than one way to go about therapy? Also, parents, your involvement is important too!

Below you can learn more about activity, talk, and telehealth therapy. As well as parent meetings.

Activity Therapy

Watercolor paints and an open sketchbook with a light blue watercolor swatch.
A hand holding several Uno cards with numbers 4, 5, 4, 4, and 3, with a blurred deck of cards in the background on a wooden surface.

Geared for clients ages 10-17 where the client is actively doing something while they are talking about their feelings. This can include painting, playing pool, throwing darts, playing Uno, video games and so much more. Most of the time kids and teens do not even realize how much they are sharing because they are doing an activity that brings them joy and comfort.

Talk Therapy

Also known as individual therapy. This is where the client and therapist sits in a quiet, cozy room with a couch and chairs to talk. To make it even more comfortable, drink a cup of coffee or have a handful of candy. Can’t forget the fidget toys!

Telehealth

Sometimes it is not always easy to break away for therapy. Telehealth is a great way to process your feeling at your convenience. Whether it’s sessions on the couch or at work, we can make it happen! Rest assured that all sessions will be conducted in a HIPAA compliant program.

* Note: Telehealth may only be conducted when the client or parent is located in the state of Texas or Kansas due to state licensing laws.

Parent Meetings

Here is where the secret of doing therapy comes in. A saying you will hear a lot is that when the kid or teen is in therapy, so is the parent! Parent Meetings are sessions without the kid or teen present to discuss progress, setbacks, tools learned, diagnosis education, frequency of sessions, and so much more. A parent meeting is typically conducted after about 4-6 sessions or whenever the parent(s) wish to meet. Parent meetings can be conducted in office or via telehealth.
