Ashton Rone, MSW, LCSW
Hi there! I know looking for a therapist for your child, adolescent, or college student can be daunting. Every client's situation and needs are different. I provide a warm, energetic, compassionate atmosphere to help make my clients and their families feel at ease.
I’m Ashton and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I hold licenses in Texas and Kansas. I graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in 2015 where I Majored in Communication and Minored in Sociology. I received my Masters in Social Work in 2018 from The University of Texas at Arlington. While in college and graduate school, I interned at Head Start of College Station; Center for Addiction and Recovery Studies and Arrow Child and Family Ministries Foster and Adoption Agency. I also nannied for many years during this time and before.
I started my career as a Licensed Master Social Worker in 2019 at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. There I worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with my last year as the psych discharge planning social worker helping kids and teens get into inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. I was also the sole COVID social worker in the hospital during the pandemic. After a couple of years, I went part time at CCMC and joined a group therapy practice in 2022. There I worked with kids, teens, and adults of all ages, though I mainly specialized in play and activity therapy. In 2024, I decided to do full time therapy as I earned my LCSW after 3000 clinical hours, 100 hours of supervision, and another licensing test. Now here we are in 2026 with my own practice- Navigating Seasons Therapy, PLLC.
I believe that when a child, teen, or young adult are in their element, they are more receptive to the therapeutic process. This is why I mold my therapy style to the client. We can talk quietly and calmly or loud and sarcastically. I also fully know that a key to my success with kids and teens is being skilled at playing pool and having a wide assortment of fidgets and candy. My goal is to make every client feel seen and validated- not just another person in the crowd.

I have two kitties named Wally and Itty (though ironically, I am more of a dog person).
I love dad puns and will repeat them a lot.
I volunteer with the youth group at church (bonus day of getting roasted by teens).
With those kids I send out a message every Monday called Motivation Monday, because we all need things to lift our spirits.

I am so grateful I get to do my dream job every day!
